Decoding LAZY.

‘Everything is easy when you are crazy about it & Nothing is easy when you are lazy about it…’

This is so true. When you think about it, it’s not that you aren’t capable of a certain thing. But it’s just that you don’t want to do it. One gives this attitude a name – Lazy.

Same way, when you achieve what you want, you haven’t done anything superhuman to get it. It’s just that you wanted it & you’ve excitedly worked towards it. One calls this – Crazy.

In both cases, the person being the same, the circumstances differ. Life is just this simple.

You are aware of the Laws of nature. Nature sends signals. The biggest problem is you don’t read them, or rather, you don’t really understand them. You are so busy either being happy about it or sad about it. You don’t put any effort in decoding the signals sent by God, the almighty. Only if you could, life would have been a better place, a less complicated journey!

You may be termed lazy at work or in a relationship or in a situation. But have you thought, why? On a little analysis, you may discover, that the reason is something else. Maybe you are stuck in a toxic environment. Maybe what you are doing is not fulfilling. Maybe a passionate hobby isn’t paying bills. Maybe you have changed over the years to still stick to a certain way of life. Maybe your circumstances have evolved. Maybe the new boss isn’t as accommodating or maybe the relationship has turned sour. Maybe personally you lack a certain trait that acts as an obstacle. Or simply maybe you aren’t geared for it & you are too naive to acknowledge it!

Another reason could be, physical health. The once active body is now grappling to stay steady. There could be multiple reasons for it, maybe the hemoglobin levels have dipped or maybe the blood pressure is fluctuating or maybe you’ve developed some invisible deficiency or simply maybe your hormones are acting silly.

Due to any such reason, the spinning head is unable to stay steady & the brain is too dizzy to handle the body movements.

Who knows what you are actually going through. The irony is, you yourself are not aware of the numerous events that are working together to distract you.

Whatever the case may be, it has to be addressed. Laziness cannot act as a cover for your mess. If you don’t take charge of your situation, you may fall into a pit. At that point, recovery may be impossible.

Firstly you need to recognise yourself. Figure out the causes of laziness. Write down the facts of the situation, divide them into pros & cons. It’s most likely that you will have your answer. If not, then take a step back & focus. You will surely be able to decode the reason.

Before going through all the facts, if you think quitting is the best solution. You may be wrong. It’s likely that you will regret it in hindsight. There is always a possibility that a small change will bring back the spark.

Again remembering the Laws of nature, you are in a situation because you were destined to be. Maybe to love it or to learn from it. So I guess quitting is never a part of it. Yes, you can move with it or move on from it.

No matter how painful or difficult a decision you have taken in your life, as long as you can sleep well at night, it means you have made the right choice!
